Rubber Stilt Feet (pair)

These stilt feet are the replacement feet for your original Stilt Factory LLC stilts. These stilt feet have the same feel of a car tire (75 durometer). We use a vacuum chamber to remove the air from the polyurethane and pour the material into a mold. The small air bubbles are unavoidable at this point, (maybe we’ll get better), but they have no effect on the performance. They are highly recommended for dirt, grass, concrete, asphalt and carpet. Avoid wet surfaces on marble, tile, ice or mud. There is 5/8” of safe wear on the bottoms (7/8” is when the stilt leg wears right thru the shoe, replacement is recommended at the 5/8” point of wear. They last a very long time if you are not twisting on abrasive surfaces. There is a thin steel washer embedded in each shoe that prolongs the life of the stilt foot. If your stilt leg is an open metal tube it is recommended that a cap or plug be put in the bottom of the tube to prevent the tube from slicing thru the stilt foot. The round hole in the shoe measures 1-1/4” diameter and is intended to fit snugly and will stretch onto a 1-3/8” diameter round stilt leg.

Each EDM event we walk over 12 miles. After 2 years, there was only minimal wear on the edges. The rubber is the right durometer so it’s still grippy, not too hard. I’m buying a second set for a new set of stilts I’m building.

I have been using these Rubber Feet for 8 months and the grip feels as strong as ever. I am purchasing more today for my other sets of stilts, the feet are a *very* snug fit but it has panned out to be perfect, no splits or tears in the rubber. For perspective, I am an active “Hype” Stiltwalker. I dance a lot, kicks and turns and hops, on blacktop or wet grass…these are THE feet.

Hi Olivia, So glad you like them, I see your order and will get them out to you today. I thought I’d let you know im working on a spinning stilt foot that has tested really well and if there was any friction with the ground this takes it all away. I’ll keep you posted on the development and how they can fit on stilts made by others.
